Burns TV career started in 1995, when she portrayed Peg as a character on the Spanish American sitcom Out of the Blue. Burns joined the cast of the action drama series Baywatch in 1998. She later starred in Baywatch's second rendition Baywatch: Hawaii until she left the show owing to her first child.
